Google "3-48 black screw"    Gives lots of hits.

Fastenal,  Boltdepot,  Grainger

Not sure what "military" equals, but lots of places to look.

Sorry for the lack of information. I need a bunch of screws for ARC-5 stuff. I think they are 3-48, 1/4", slotted binder head, black brass or black oxide coated.

Thanks!

In a pinch when I need a black colored screw head, I use a black felt marker. Apply, dry, apply again.

Fair radio sales in Lima Ohio is still the best provider of ARC-5 parts. I called them last summer and bought a big bag of assorted ARC-5 screws. Note that they come in different head sizes, lengths and finishes but all are 3-48 and they have the star washers too. Give them a call and you will get the right stuff.
