I see where today and tomorrow are near the peak of the Orionids Meteor Showers....Up to 25 meteors /hr ...
  Any pingers out there?

I used to try pinging and it was a lot of fun, until some A HOLES caused tremendous QRM and jamming on the 75m liaison frequency. Where we coordinated the meeting 2m or 6m freq...This was early 90's, before the internet was turning into a major player to communicate.
I guess the internet might have saved the day for pingers today.
It was a challenge to catch a syllable here and there or a complete sentence.

I've done meteor scatter operating on 6 and 2 meters over past years but never seem to have much luck with this shower.
