I am looking for a source for butt joints to join .035" bare copper wires, hopefully they would be solderable (is that a word?).

I have some I acquired in the the past however I can't seem to source them anymore.

Thanks Tom

AKA Sprague 'Queegs' or 'Kwickettes'.

Little copper springs with solder covering.

Search eBay or the ARF forum.

small pieces of brass / copper tubing should work ... clipped pieces of tinned wire wrapped around small nail driven in scrap block would get you there... snip off the nail head after driving it in

Hmmmm.... no luck locating a source of ready made ones.  Will spend a night trying to figure a neat way to make some.  The little brass tubes would work but I need 40 of them and want them to look professional.... Thanks, Tom

I've seen them for sale on occasion on the ARF:

Check every so often, or run a WTB ad for free.

Eureka!  Found them, Panduit BS22-C.

Still manufactured and in various wire gauge sizes.

Thanks all, Tom
