I'm trying to put together a 15 meter coil set for my Globe King 400B. The only coils that I haven't found are two B&W 15 MEL's. They were apparently made from hens teeth and unicorn horns. My question is do y'all think the slightly more common 15 JEL coils would work? They are the next higher power range than the MEL's.

Hi Mike
I have a 15 and 20 mtr MEL. According to my LC meter shorting out about 3 turns of the 20 will give you the same inductance as a 15.
Neither will win a beauty contest, but you can always clean them up.
$15 for the 2 plus shipping?
