Thanks to KE9NS and his continuing work on PowerSDR, the 1500 and 3000 are now able to transmit audio up to 10,000Hz! Lots of HiFi AM goodness in a tiny package. Here's a quick and dirty video of the lil guy in action:

You may mean KE9NS, not NE9NS.

I am attaching a list of new features added. For AM in addition of what you mentioned, the MON feature now works with zero latency pre-processed audio. With the 1500 though, that only works under VAC. The MON has always worked for SSB, but never for AM till now.

"AM and FM modes now have Pre-Processed audio available to the Monitor “MON“. The Flex-1500 can only do this via the VAC function, not the built in headphone jack."

To install T5 (the latest), the computer needs to be running Win7 or later (NO XP) with Microsoft .NET 4.5.2 installed. The install is automatic now, but you need to right click the download and install as Administrator. It will make a new PowerSDR Icon, and leave the original alone. This way you can run the original Flex 2.7.2, or Flex 2.7.2 with KE9NS T5 enhancements. The original database file is left untouched.

Great clean audio and well balanced EQ!!! Couldn't tell the difference between the sound of you talking in the mic and the playback.

Christos SV1EIA modded Power SDR 2.4.4 to control the Soft Rock SDR. The VFO in the unit needed special control of the little brain that controls RX functions.

Now to get the QRP power up to drive a linear.

Good job
